Everything in its Right Place

Maryanne Kayler, director of Leap Frog Afterschool, spent many hours poring over the eibe indoor catalogue trying to find a solution for her nursery ideal. Indeed, there were times when her dream nursery seemed destined to remain a mere vision; it was touch and go whether Maryanne’s team could find the correct premises to hold their proposed nursery start-up.

In the end, property was secured and following an initial consultation with conceptual wizard Thomas Smith, where a plethora of thought-provoking ideas were touted, a mutually beneficial relationship began between Leapfrog and eibe. Thoughts immediately turned to transforming the relevant rooms (see above) into bright, imaginative play areas for children.

The process of deciding on brand and product specification thus began. It was crucial that the balance of equipment reflected the differing age groups of the children that would be at the nursery. It was certainly challenging with many drafts and re-drafts finding their way into recycling bins, but ultimately the best design and product range was chosen.

The order value came in at £22,000 and includes a fantastic array of Eduline and Eibelino items. There are standard, essentials such as mobile storage and chairs for the leapfroggers, as well as creative role-play toys such as eibe favourite, the “Dream Cave”.

The project itself is now well underway and will be completed during the summer.
